Like magic, the technique taught gives students the blocks to make two pieced quilt “tops” at once.
These can be put together into a reversible quilt or used for two separate quilts. No wasted fabric and no exposed biases. Students may choose between a wallhanging (36" × 36") or throw (54" × 72") size; it’s possible to finish piecing the wallhanging in class. Further setting options for the blocks will be also explored in class. Take a look at the gallery to see some students’ work!
