The elusive Quilter’s Applique Workshop nestles amongst its tribe The elusive Quilter’s Applique Workshop nestles amongst its tribe

The reality of having written a book didn’t really hit until I put it up there on the bookshelf with my other appliqué books. Even getting my advance copy didn’t make it feel fully real, but somehow standing it shoulder to shoulder with its neighbors did. I’m especially chuffed that it’s alphabetically right next door to Applique Stitchery by Jean Ray Laury, one of my quilting heros. (I’m going to have to be careful not to buy any further appliqué books whose authors would fall between “Laury” and “Kosbab.”)

So, with those insights into my authorial peculiarities out of the way, on to the main point. Copies of The Quilter’s Appliqué Workshop are now shipping, and I want to see them in the wild! If you spot a copy in a bookshop or quilt store or other bookish/craftish place, send me a photo! I’ll send a package of goodies to the first person to submit a picture on Facebook, Twitter, or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Just play fair—the book has to be truly “in the wild,” for sale somewhere (or at a library...). Happy hunting!
