When does two plus two not equal four? When you’re talking about thread size. There are many systems in use for labeling the weight of thread, which makes comparing them difficult. Here’s the simplified system I use in my book.
How cool is that spine? I have a special place in my heart for a well-designed spine (we’re talking book spines here, though I suppose non-scoliotic people spines are nice, too). The byline and the publisher’s logo being slotted into the colored patches of the quilt from the front cover pleases me to no end.
